Position description:
We’re looking for part time Caregiver for weekends. We have positions available for every weekend and every other weekend availability. This role is what we call a Direct Support Professional. Absolutely no experience is necessary, all training is provided. The ideal candidate is someone who is a naturally kind and compassionate person that would enjoy helping people and having fun with them.
Our DSPs often take care of daily needs; cooking, cleaning, transportation, medication assistance etc. On occasion, they will take individuals bowling or to the movies, and often join individuals at church or volunteer events.
The goal is to help our residents feel and become as independent as possible while they live their daily lives. Be a companion, learn to be a caregiver for someone in your community!
Compensation with no experience starts at $15.00 per hour for 1st or 3rd shift and $17.00 per hour for 2nd shift.
